Cute JD pics from Fairytale town

I always have a hard time getting JD to pose for a picture. He invariably runs up to the camera as soon as he sees it and he absolutely refuses to smile on demand. I'll have to post some pics of the girls later but this post is dedicated to cute JD pics. I thought this picture was really cute. I took it right after he went down a slide shaped like the home of the old woman who lives in a shoe. We finally got him to go down facing forward instead of sliding on his tummy. He zoomed down super-fast and landed right on his butt. Thank goodness for the extra padding that is a diaper.

I was trying to catch him smiling here. He'd run around and then stop, smile and say "Hi Mommy" and run off again. Unfortunately I was too slow and this is as close as I got to a smile.

There's a little spot in Fairytale town called "Jack and Jills' Hill". This old water pump actually works. Once JD discovered it he didn't want to leave. He probably spent 20 minutes at that spot fascinated by the pump. This is his "No, I'm not moving" look once I told him it was time to go.

This picture is a little fuzzy due to the fact that JD was running toward me when I was trying to take it but I think it's cute anyway because I like the look on his face.

He has such a fun personality and I'm glad that I've been able to relax more with him and enjoy him. When the girls were his age I had a harder time relaxing and I missed out on their personalities at the time that they were really coming out.
