I am slowly but surely working on getting current with this blog. The thing is, nothing much happens where I take pictures except for around the holidays. I'd like to be the kind of person that takes pictures all the time but I'm usually busy doing something else. My parents and brother came for a visit a few weeks ago and I forgot to take any pictures. This picture here is of the kids at the Christmas Tree farm. They have fun when we go every year. They get to play with cousins that they don't always see. It's always fun for them to run around outside and climb in this tree too. The only thing is the reservoir behind the shed is always a temptation for them. It looks like a swimming pool and they always want to go over to. I'm sure one of these years someone is going to fall in.
JD thought it was great that this tree was as tall as he. He and Becca kept running around from tree to tree, trying to pick the best one. I never know which one to pick. They pretty much all look the same to me. I think we did pretty good this time. The tree was full, not too tall since our ceilings aren't that tall, and there weren't any noticeable bald spots to speak of. The most frustrating thing was that the branches are always too weak for our heavy ornaments every year.
The kids like to help Jeremy cut the tree down. They had a power saw this time around. I was nervous about little fingers but Jeremy was careful.

I never knew picking a tree could be such a big event. That group was SMALLER than before?
